If i go buy a box of hair bleach and wash my hair with it, will it get lighter?

I just want my medium brown hair a lighter shade of brown/blondish. so if i just leave the bleach on my hair for like less than 10 minutes will my head turn orange or get lighter?If i go buy a box of hair bleach and wash my hair with it, will it get lighter?

The best way would be to bleach it out (according to the box, to get it blonde)


And then redye it the shade of lighter brown that you want.


The dark dye helps soften your hair after bleaching, PLUS you know what color you'll be getting (since bleach tends to turn hair kind of orangey)
use sun in, it makes your hair a little lighter.


you don't have to us it in the sun though, you can also blow dry it to get results.

Please don't try it, your hair may turn orange, which i am guessing it will.. if your going to do that, just bleach your hair entirely, and use hair color to get the color you want

i believe your hair will eventually get all white, and it will make you not look like yourself, and what not, so don't if i was you.
