How can i get rid of the smell of turpentine from my washing machine,tried bleach&rinses&boil wash.?

Not sure about turps...but i have an old washing machine in the garage which i use for horse/dog blankets %26amp; towels etc which gets a bit smelly and i use a mixture of lemon juice ,vinegar and bicarbonate of soda ...you could always try ithatHow can i get rid of the smell of turpentine from my washing machine,tried bleach%26amp;rinses%26amp;boil wash.?
run a wash with white vinegar water it is a natural grease utter and it will neutralize the smell.

Vinegar dose very good to clean washers.
I use vinegar and a handful or two of bi carb and let the rinse cycle go. works wonders.
I do agree with the lemon juice or vinegar!!! works like a charm!! heres a question why do you suppose they give you lemon wedges when you eat seafood???food for thought!
