How do you remove dirt or sweat from the jacket?Why is it that people are not supposed to bleach their fencing jackets when they wash them?
Because bleach will rot the fabric. You'd have to use so much it would be hard to rinse out completely, particularly if you mean the plastron which is thick and padded.


There should be care instructions given with the jacket by the manufacturer. If not, ask at the shop you bought it from.
