If a garment is labeled ';Do not Bleach'; is it safe to wash with a bleach alternative?

I know this may seem like a dumb question but is a bleach alternative a safe alternative for products that can't be bleached?If a garment is labeled ';Do not Bleach'; is it safe to wash with a bleach alternative?
The bleach alternative that is in many detergents now is the oxygen based bleach, and not the chlorine bleach.





Oxygen bleach (commonly referred to as Oxyclean) is color-safe for MOST fabrics...but I have run into issues with particular blends of rayon losing their dye when used with Oxygen bleach.If a garment is labeled ';Do not Bleach'; is it safe to wash with a bleach alternative?
try color safe bleach. there is no chlorine in it.
I would try something like ';Oxy Clean.';
